Welcome to the website of the EDURAD project! This partnership project between five European countries was created in order to develop educational responses to the question of extremism and to better understand what “preventing radicalisation and extremism” mean in educational settings in different European countries. It will map the different ways in which extremism and radicalisation are understood in these different national contexts, and will describe how these terms are understood in different educational contexts and the kinds of pedagogical approaches that different countries have developed. Its aim is to create a network for exchange of educational ideas and pedagogical responses to extremism and radicalisation.
