This module provides a set of pedagogical tools and exercises intended to develop critical thinking and dialogue skills among children and youth. It will help participants develop the following skills and competences:
- To engage in self-reflection and critical self-reflection processes
- To identify the need for and develop questioning skills
- To recognise establish beliefs and assumptions
- To challenge received knowledge and open it up to further questioning and analysis
- To organize a discussion on difficult issues
- To craft logical and persuasive arguments
- To identify the value of counter-narratives in discussions
- To evaluate sources of knowledge
- To conceptualise educational processes as democratic processes.
